If you do not see anything in the newspaper that catches your eye you should then look to the internet. There are many websites that specialize in providing good used car buys to the general public. Cheap cars can be found in a number of places, it is just a matter of knowing where to look. Once you know the right place it will be easier for you to get one.
A couple of the better makes and models of used cars are Honda, Nissan, and Toyota. Year in and year out these cars are named the most reliable new cars, which means that they are generally the most reliable used cars. A used Honda or Toyota can often be had for cheap, and will provide you with a great level of service if it is in good condition.
Cheap cars do not necessarily have to be in bad condition. If you search enough you will eventually find a car that you can afford.
